Most prayer mats in Pakistan come in two sizes: 70 x 110 cm and 80 x 120 cm. The right size depends on your height, where you pray and whether you travel with it.
70 x 110 cm (about 27.5 x 43 inches)

How to check if a size fits you
Stand on the mat, then go into sajdah. Your feet should be on the bottom of the mat and your forehead and nose on the top part. If your head goes past the top edge, choose the larger size.
As a rough rule, people taller than about 5 feet 10 inches are usually more comfortable on 80 x 120 cm.
Size for gifts
If you don't know the person's height, 80 x 120 cm is the safer choice. For children or for travel, 70 x 110 cm is enough.
