How to Use the iQibla Zikr Ring and Connect the App

By Janamaz Store · 28 October 2026 · 2 min read

Got a new iQibla zikr ring? This guide shows the basic steps for the iQibla Zikr Ring Jood, Noor and Zikr1 Lite. Button presses can be a little different on each model, so keep the small manual from the box nearby.

Still choosing a ring? Read our best zikr ring comparison first.

Step 1: Charge the ring fully

Put the ring on its charging cable before first use and charge it fully. A full charge first helps the battery last longer. Use a normal phone charger plug, not a fast charger with very high power.

Step 2: Wake it up and count

Wear the ring on your index finger so your thumb can reach the button. Press the button once to wake the screen. After that, each press adds one to your count. You will feel a small vibration at set counts, so you can keep your eyes closed during zikr.

Step 3: Reset the count

Most iQibla rings reset when you hold the button for a few seconds. Check your manual for the exact way on your model. If you connect the app first, your old count is saved in your history before you reset.

Step 4: Install the iQibla Life app

  1. Download iQibla Life from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth and Location on your phone. Location is needed for prayer times in your city.
  3. Open the app, create an account, and choose to add a device.
  4. Keep the ring close to the phone and pick it from the list.

Step 5: Set prayer reminders

In the app, set your city and your prayer time method. For Pakistan most people choose University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi, with Hanafi Asr. Then turn on the reminders you want. The ring will vibrate at prayer times even when your phone is in your pocket.

Common problems and quick fixes

  • Ring not showing in the app: charge it, turn Bluetooth off and on, and keep the ring next to the phone.
  • Wrong prayer times: check the city and calculation method in the app settings.
  • Ring feels loose or tight: see our zikr ring size guide.
